1.Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe: The Jungfraujoch is a famous peak in the Alps that is reached via a spectacular railway line. From here you have a magnificent view, great glaciers and the highest train station in Europe. Without a doubt the number 1 attraction in the Bernese Oberland.

2.Schilthorn: Famous from the James Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”, the Schilthorn offers fantastic views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau groups. The revolving restaurant “Piz Gloria” offers a 360-degree view. This peak is also easily accessible by train.

3.Grindelwald: This charming mountain village is the ideal starting point for numerous hikes and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The First offers magnificent views and adventure activities such as the First Cliff Walk.

4.Interlaken: Located between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, Interlaken offers numerous outdoor activities such as paragliding and boat trips as well as a beautiful old town and scenic views of the Alps. Interlaken is the starting point for many roads and railways into the Bernese Oberland and is the region’s main tourist town.

5.Thun: The historic old town of Thun is located on the banks of the Aare River and features the Thun Castle, the Zähringerbrunnen fountain and numerous old buildings and alleys that invite you to stroll. Arguably the most beautiful old town in the Bernese Oberland region.

6.Brienz: A picturesque village on Lake Brienz, known for its wood carving and traditional architecture. The Brienzer Rothorn offers great views and can be reached by cog railway.

7.Lauterbrunnen: This stunning village and valley is known for its 72 waterfalls, including the Staubbach Falls and the Trümmelbach Falls. The valley also provides access to the surrounding mountain regions and charming villages such as Wengen and Mürren.

8.Oeschinensee: A stunning mountain lake in Kandersteg surrounded by impressive mountain peaks. It can be reached by cable car or hiking trails and is a popular spot for boat trips and hikes.

9.Spiez: Located right on Lake Thun, Spiez offers a beautiful castle towering over the lake, as well as a charming old town and good opportunities for boat trips on Lake Thun.

10.The Eiger – Mönch – Jungfrau trio: These 3 mountains are world famous. With Europe’s highest train station and the famous Eiger North Face.
